Best option for home internet Service....$35, $45, & $65

What is the best option for home internet service?

We have 3 laptops and an iPad. Right now, we have wireless broadband Internet service that runs through our phone line. I would like to get rid of our phone line if it is more economical. Our basic phone is about $30 per month, and our Internet service is about $35 per month. Any suggestions?

Most phone companies now offer DSL without phone service. AT&T calls it "DSL Direct". Expect to pay around $45/mo for the same tier of service without a phone line, but it's cheaper than $65/mo with the phone line.

You can also check with the local cable monopoly. Most cable operators charge $45+/mo. Though some cable operators have "Economy" plans (equivalent to DSL Lite) for around $35/mo.
Some cities have access to Clear 4G WiMAX. Speed can vary a lot (1-6Mbps) depending on how many other people are sharing the same tower. $45/mo.
