2012 $50 Weekly Menu Week

Having spent last week's grocery allotment on restocking meat, this weeks entire shopping expense was devoted entirely to fresh fruits, veggies and pantry items.
This week we purchased lettuce, celery, mushrooms, cabbage, potatoes, broccoli, coffee, flour, a few seasonings,
pasta, cantaloupe, strawberries, pineapple, and peppers. Blueberries have come into season and we picked and froze several gallons this week as well. Total spent on groceries $42.76

FYI:
Our own garden is producing cucumbers, zuchinni, summer squash and fresh tomatoes! For those that are just joining our weekly menus, we do raise our own chickens (for fresh eggs) and get about a dozen per day- So if you're noticing a large number of eggs in our menu, that's why!
